China has released a new white paper outlining its vision for the future of global governance.
At the center of the document is the Global Governance Initiative (GGI), unveiled in 2025 and presented as Beijing's roadmap for strengthening, not replacing, the existing international system. According to the paper, the initiative has already received support or positive responses from nearly 160 countries and international organizations.
