Mission & Principles

ONEST Network is an independent, reader-supported media organization committed to factual, nonpartisan journalism. Our mission is to deliver clarity over noise, depth over clickbait, and global understanding over polarization.

Our editorial work is guided by three principles:

  • Accuracy – Facts are verified through primary sources and reputable institutions.
  • Independence – Editorial decisions are free from political or commercial influence.
  • Accountability – Mistakes are corrected transparently and promptly.

Editorial Oversight

Olga Nesterova — Founder & Correspondent

• Reports on international diplomacy, summits, and global affairs.

• Makes all editorial decisions, including what is covered, how it is reported, and when it is published.

• Produces original reporting, interviews, and analysis.

Volodymyr Nesterov — Manager

• Oversees operations and organizational matters.

• Available for editorial consultation at Olga’s discretion; editorial decisions remain hers.

Contributing Reporters

• ONEST employs a variety of independent on-location reporters on a contractual basis, who adhere to the standards set by the organization.

• Their work is subject to the same standards of accuracy, fairness, and independence.

This structure means all ONEST content is produced under a single, consistent editorial voice and standard.

Editorial Process

1. Assignment & Planning

• Coverage is selected based on relevance, access, and alignment with ONEST’s mission.

• Topics are chosen independently, drawing on direct access to diplomatic and international events.

2. Reporting & Verification

• Sources are verified through direct interviews, official documents, and reputable institutions.

• Anonymous or third-party claims are not published without corroboration.

3. Review & Approval

• Before publication, each piece is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, neutrality, and adherence to ONEST’s standards.

• For sensitive or complex matters, editorial judgment may be discussed with ONEST’s manager, though final editorial decisions rest with the correspondent.

4. Publication & Distribution

• Content is published across ONEST’s platforms (website, newsletters, livestreams, and social channels).

5. Corrections

• If errors are identified post-publication, ONEST issues transparent corrections or updates.

• Corrections are clearly marked to maintain reader trust.

Conflicts of Interest

  1. ONEST staff and contributors do not accept compensation, gifts, or incentives that may influence coverage.
  2. Sponsors (if any) are clearly labeled and separated from editorial content.
  3. Sponsored content is never presented as independent reporting.

Reader Accountability

  1. Readers may contact media@onestnetwork.com to flag errors, provide feedback, or request corrections.
  2. ONEST commits to addressing all concerns in a timely manner.
