Zelenskyy Confirms Russia is Involving North Korean Troops in Ukraine War

Square of Independence in Kyiv, Ukraine
In a recent address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed reports that Russia has begun using North Korean soldiers in its military operations, particularly in the Kursk region.

Zelenskyy condemned this move as an escalation of the conflict, accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of prolonging the war and undermining global peace efforts.

He emphasized Ukraine's determination to defend itself and cooperate with international partners to achieve a decisive end to the war. Zelenskyy also announced plans for increased European sanctions on Russia and expanded humanitarian efforts, particularly in Syria, where Ukraine aims to contribute to stabilization and prevent a food crisis.

He concluded by thanking Ukraine's military and electronic warfare units for their efforts in defending the country, particularly against Russian drone strikes.
