Jordan Brand is pushing the boundaries of sports marketing with “Too Easy,” a dynamic two-and-a-half-minute basketball musical that coincides with the launch of the new Air Jordan 40. Conceived by Wieden+Kennedy, the film reimagines the Broadway classic “It’s the Hard-Knock Life” from Annie with clever, basketball-themed lyrics. The result is a theatrical performance that blends high-energy choreography, court sounds, and a celebration of athletic excellence.


Set entirely on a basketball court, the musical transforms everyday elements of the game—dribbling, squeaking sneakers, bouncing balls—into a rhythmic performance. It’s a powerful visual metaphor for how Jordan athletes make the game look effortless, a concept captured in the film’s name: “Too Easy.”


The star-studded cast features some of the biggest names in basketball, including Bam Adebayo, Trae Young, Chris Paul, Paolo Banchero, Jayson Tatum, Luka Dončić, Napheesa Collier, Gabby Williams, Dominique Malonga, Jared McCain, and Kiki Rice.


Each athlete brings their unique flair to the screen, with WNBA stars receiving standout solo moments that further emphasize the brand’s inclusive celebration of basketball talent across the board.


This campaign is part of Jordan Brand’s “40 Years of Greatness” initiative, honoring the legacy that began when Michael Jordan first wore the iconic sneakers in 1985.
