Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz will embark on an intensive campaign tour across battleground states following the first presidential debate with Donald Trump.
With Election Day less than 60 days away, the "New Way Forward Tour" will encompass events in every media market within key states over a span of four days, from September 12 to September 15.
The tour will commence with Vice President Harris in North Carolina and Governor Walz in Michigan on Thursday, September 12. Harris will then travel to Pennsylvania on Friday, while Walz continues his campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin. The tour will feature a mix of rallies, community events, and canvassing efforts, as well as additional stops on the Reproductive Rights Bus Tour, culminating on the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The campaign's mobilization efforts will also include a new ad campaign, titled "New Way Forward," which will be broadcast nationwide and specifically in eight battleground states: Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Nebraska. The ad highlights Harris' proposals for strengthening the middle class, including measures to address price gouging, prescription drug costs, and affordable housing. This ad campaign is part of a broader $370 million investment in TV and digital media between Labor Day and Election Day.
Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz will also be active on the campaign trail. Emhoff will visit Nevada, Arizona, and Florida, while Walz will tour Georgia, New Hampshire, and Maine.
The Harris-Walz campaign aims to drive voter enthusiasm and underscore the differences between their vision for a hopeful future and the perceived dangers of Trump's Project 2025 agenda.
"With early voting about to begin and less than 60 days until Election Day, our campaign will take the vice president’s message directly to the voters wherever they are," said Harris-Walz campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler.
